The beginning of the socalled Route of Water covers the right bank of the river Umia. In Segade de Abaixo, the river is crossed by an ancient way that used to be passed along by local people. This way is placed near a waterfall of the same river Umia and close to the facewalls that enables sports such as climbing.
Following the route, it is found a Roman bridge and some remains of an ancient track. In the return journey the route passes by some old watermills in not so good state of preservation. The way finishes again in Caldas, specifically at the botanical garden. In this village there are many other appeals, such as some spas and health resorts that follow the tradition of thermalism that has been brougth here by the Romans. |

- Waterfall in the river Umia.
